BALSAM LAKE, Wis. -- An 80-year-old Wisconsin man made his last route Friday and is retiring after 50 years of driving school buses.
David Michaelson of Balsam Lake has always been local, and started driving school buses in 1961.
"It's kind of an emotional time," Michaelson said. "I never had a goal of making it to 50 years."
Michaelson has been driving special needs kids since the mid-1990's. He says that is what he's going to miss most.
