DEBARY, Fla. — An autistic boy's four backyard chickens were most
likely killed by an animal, and not in a human attack, a Volusia County
sheriff's spokesman said Monday.
The Hart family awoke Saturday morning to find two hens and two pullets -- used as therapy for their son — had been beheaded. They called the Volusia County Sheriff's
Office, which investigated.
