Lahore, Pakistan: Those with disabilities do not want to be called ‘special’ or ‘disabled’, said Dr Khalid Niazi of HOPE Rehabilitation Society, which had organised a seminar to commemorate the International day of Persons with Disabilities at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday.
The seminar was addressed and attended by a large number of prosthetic specialists, speech therapists and other medical experts from Lahore. The day is marked on December 3.
